Legume crops include feed and vegetable legumes. Vegetable legumes are used for food in form of grains or beans (leguminous crops: pea, bean, soya, lentil) or in form of green pods (green beans, peas). Feed legumes serve for farm animals (lucerne, clover, lupine, melilot). Vegetable and feed legume crops also can be cultivated for technical use: green manuring, companion cropping (broad beans), crude drug and etc. Some cultures are used in decoration (lupine, sweet peas).
